Two active LMBA members won elections to the Washington House of Representatives on Tuesday: Congratulations to Jamila Taylor (30th) and David Hackney (11th)! LMBA is so proud of you. In addition, we congratulate LMBA friend Marilyn Strickland, who will soon be representing Washington's 10th District in Congress. And even though she hasn't had run for
election yet, we send kudos to member Lisa Mansfield on her recent appointment to the bench in the City of Lakefield. Finally, to know one's surprise, LMBA member and Justice Helen Whitener was elected to the Supreme Court position she was appointed to last year. Congratulations to each of you!
