Assistant General Counsel - Transactions & Regulatory Compliance
Responsible for supporting transactional work of Seattle Children's and its affiliated organizations, including responsibility as lead counsel on appropriate matters. Provides complex legal advice, consultation, and policy analysis and interpretation in numerous areas of law and policy, including reimbursement, corporate compliance, and medical staff services under the guidance of the Deputy General Counsel. Functions at a level of skill, knowledge, and judgment that permits independent action, subject to oversight by the Deputy General Counsel. Prepares written opinions and guidance for management. Maintains current knowledge of opinions, orders, decisions, developments, existing and proposed state and federal regulations, and other matters of interest to the organization and advises management of impact and compliance strategies.
This position will have a hybrid work schedule (on-site and remote work).
Annual Salary: $196,977/Yr.- $295,466/Yr.

Required Education/Experience:
- JD from ABA accredited law school
- Demonstrated experience in legal and regulatory framework governing hospital and health care operations
- Minimum 7 years of relevant health care law experience in corporate, public, or private law firm setting
Required Credentials:
- JD from ABA accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the State of Washington
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a major law firm or in-house experience in a large, complex healthcare organization
